We specialize in digital solutions (web, mobile, BI, RPA, etc.), with offices in São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte, and the USA. **Opportunity Overview:** * We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with expert-level expertise to directly contribute to game development, with high technical autonomy, freedom to propose solutions, and a focus on high-impact deliveries. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Develop and evolve a game's backend using Node.js as the primary stack; * Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs; * Define and evolve architectures, ensuring system quality, organization, and scalability; * Work with integrations of external services, databases, and distributed systems; * Prioritize tasks collaboratively with the team, focusing on impact, efficiency, and continuous value delivery; * Identify technical bottlenecks and propose structural improvements; * Ensure best practices in development, testing, version control, and documentation; * Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to ensure technical and functional alignment; * Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a flexible, results-oriented environment. **Required Skills:** * Proven, solid production experience with Node.js; * Experience with RESTful API and microservices architecture; * Experience with relational and non-relational databases; * Knowledge of code versioning (Git) and CI/CD best practices; * Ability to architect scalable and secure solutions; * Strong organizational and prioritization skills in dynamic environments; * Proactive, analytical profile with strong problem-solving orientation. **Preferred Skills:** * Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C# or similar); * Prior experience in game development or high-volume transactional platforms; * Experience with event-driven architecture or distributed systems; * Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure); * Interest in the games and digital entertainment market. **What You’ll Find at GX2:** * Original content hub segmented by knowledge tracks (AI, QA, Agility, UX/UI Design, Product, Software Development); * Monthly talks focused on soft skills development; * People- and mental health–oriented culture; * Mental health and well-being platform; * GX2 Follow Up: Individual monthly check-ins focused on well-being and professional development. **A Message from GX2:** This position is open to all interested candidates.
