It has been operating in Brazil for over 10 years and employs approximately 250 professionals nationwide, providing product development services to OEMs and automotive suppliers. **Job Description** Responsible for developing 1D vehicle component simulation models. Responsibilities include building, evaluating, and correlating 1D models. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple projects and providing technical insights to relevant departments. This position requires solid expertise in GT\-Suite for modeling, with a focus on performance and efficiency, to support design and architecture development during the early stages of projects. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop 1D engine simulation models using GT\-Suite for various engines, incorporating complete engine system components such as intake and exhaust systems. * Perform torque, power, and fuel consumption analyses. * Execute transient simulations for performance evaluation and control algorithm assessment. * Identify and apply new modeling techniques to minimize reliance on experimental data. * Provide component- and/or system-level design recommendations to responsible engineers based on analysis results. * Convert 3D geometries into 1D models using discretization techniques. * Write and disseminate technical reports and procedures. **Additional Information** Applus IDIADA is committed to **equality,** **diversity** and **inclusion**.
