The Autonomous Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center at PUCPR seeks a Specialist to develop and implement intelligent solutions in Research, Development and Innovation (R,D\&I) projects, connecting technical competencies with industrial demands and contributing to value generation through applied innovation. Does this opportunity align with you? **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and implement Artificial Intelligence-based solutions in R,D\&I projects—from conception through validation; * Perform data modeling, analysis, and processing using data science and machine learning techniques; implement, test, and validate models and solutions in real or simulated environments; * Prepare technical project proposals—including scope definition, methodological approach, deliverables, and technical estimates; * Engage with client companies involved in R,D\&I projects, understand their needs, and translate them into structured technological solutions; * Execute research and innovation projects, ensuring technical quality, deadlines, and alignment with defined objectives; validate technical results—including models, algorithms, prototypes, and reports; * Support market mapping, identifying relevant industrial trends and demands for AI application; contribute to structuring the Center’s technological solutions and portfolio; * Collaborate integrally with multidisciplinary teams (researchers, business units, analysts), contributing to project success; * Document solutions, processes, and lessons learned, supporting institutional knowledge management. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What You Must Have:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields; * Practical experience developing Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science solutions; * Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python) and AI libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit\-learn); * Experience in data processing, analysis, and modeling; * Ability to structure technical solutions from real-world problems; * Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and multidisciplinary teams; * Organization, autonomy, and results orientation; * Analytical thinking and capacity to solve complex problems; * Proactivity and sense of responsibility. **Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** * Master’s degree or specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields; * Experience in applied projects with companies or industry; * Knowledge in areas such as NLP, computer vision, optimization, intelligent systems, or industrial AI applications; experience with model deployment (MLOps, APIs, cloud); * Experience in innovation environments (ICTs, startups, hubs, research centers); * Intermediate or advanced English proficiency; * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; * Commitment to continuous learning and technological updating. **Additional Information** **What You’ll Find Here:** * Unimed Health Plan: With co-payment, offering medical coverage and access to a high-quality accredited provider network * OdontoPrev Dental Plan: Nationwide coverage, with monthly premiums deducted from payroll * Education Incentive Program: Valuing professional and personal development of employees, with incentives for specialization, extension courses, language learning, and postgraduate studies at PUCPR * Meals at Bistrô Marista: On-site meals provided on workdays, with symbolic payroll deduction * Quality of Life Program * Private Pension Plan * Life Insurance * Transportation Allowance * Free Parking * Wellhub (formerly Gympass): Access to numerous gyms with monthly fee deductions from payroll * Zenklub: Access to telehealth sessions with mental health specialists, including two free consultations per month * “Conte Comigo” Program: Multidisciplinary team available for social support, legal guidance (excluding labor-related matters), financial and pension consulting * Benefits Club: Partnerships with companies across diverse sectors, offering special discounts on services and products **Salary:** Our salary proposal is built based on several factors.
