Company with multinational experience and a focus on innovation **We are looking for a Refrigeration Mechanic to join our Utilities team!** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **If you have** **a technical degree in Mechanics, Refrigeration, or Electromechanics, or a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields**, this could be the ideal opportunity for your professional development. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Summary of Responsibilities:** ------------------------------- Perform maintenance services on refrigeration plants, including sheet metal repair, hydraulic control and pneumatic valve repairs, and replacement of bearings, belts, filters, hoses, and gears—ensuring equipment remains in optimal working condition to support production departments. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration, ventilation, heating, and air conditioning installations and equipment; * Conduct testing, lubrication, and adjustment of the company's refrigeration and air conditioning systems; * Monitor refrigeration system parameters per consumer manual instructions; * Monitor superheating and subcooling, as well as the operation of protection and control devices located in production and storage rooms, ensuring the ideal temperature for each product type; * Complete maintenance activity reports, documenting all parts used during service for equipment life-cycle analysis and tracking; * Guide end-users on proper equipment operation to prevent damage; * Perform cold room maintenance, verifying gas pressure levels, cleaning condensers and evaporators, replacing fans, and other tasks to ensure full functionality; * Maintain air handling units by adjusting or replacing reducers and air filter mats, identifying faults and correcting them; * Maintain water treatment plants according to the preventive maintenance plan schedule, including plant cleaning and bearing lubrication of air filter supports; * Maintain air dryers by disassembling units, cleaning with compressed air, checking gas pressure, detecting leaks, and correcting faults; * Maintain drinking fountains in general by disassembling, cleaning filters and faucets, and replacing parts when necessary to meet demand effectively; * Install, uninstall, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air conditioners per technical specifications and procedures—including disassembly, cleaning, and replacement of parts and air filters, among other repairs; * Clean the air refrigeration washer filter per operational procedure; * Eliminate compressed air leaks using tools for adjustment or replacement of parts, hoses, and piping to avoid waste; * Carry out activities in accordance with established operational technical standards, following Pharlab norms and requirements related to quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), workplace safety, environmental preservation, and sustainability—as well as correctly using PPE and uniforms to eliminate situations that may pose risks of accidents, environmental degradation, or compromised product quality. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education** ---------------- * Completed technical course in Mechanics; Refrigeration; Electromechanics; or related fields; * Or completed bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Electrical Engineering; or related fields. **Experience** --------------- * Experience maintaining refrigeration plants, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, component replacements, and equipment operation. **Knowledge** ----------------- * Microsoft Office suite; * Industrial maintenance; * Refrigeration system maintenance; * Reading and interpreting manuals and technical drawings. **Additional Information** **Work Location** --------------------- * Pharlab Headquarters. **Work Model** ---------------------- * On-site. **Working Hours** ----------------------- * **Monday to Thursday:** 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (1 hour 30 minutes lunch break) * **Friday:** 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (1 hour 30 minutes lunch break).
