We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work on strategic and complex projects within the finance team, with end-to-end responsibility for data architecture, integration, and delivery. This professional will be a key contributor in building robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality, governance, and scalability to support advanced analytics and predictive modeling. Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) for ingestion, transformation, and delivery of financial data. Structure and optimize Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and cloud-based architectures (Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric). Ensure data quality, governance, security, and traceability across the entire data lifecycle. Implement data engineering practices aligned with MLOps for seamless integration with machine learning models. Collaborate closely with departments such as Controller’s Office, Accounting, Treasury, and Financial Planning. Automate data processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce risk. Monitor performance and cost of data solutions, proposing continuous improvements. Document architectures, data flows, and technical standards, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. Solid experience in data engineering, preferably in corporate environments or consulting firms. Proficiency in tools and languages such as Python, PySpark, SQL, and distributed processing frameworks. Experience with cloud-based data architecture (Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric). Knowledge of data modeling, medallion architecture, and best practices in Data Governance. Experience with code versioning (Git) and pipeline automation (CI/CD). Familiarity with MLOps practices and integration with analytical models. Strong logical reasoning, analytical capability, and business acumen. Ability to communicate clearly and align with non-technical stakeholders. Advanced English proficiency for writing and communication. Desirable: Experience with Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps). Certifications in data engineering, cloud architecture, or data governance. Knowledge of Data Quality frameworks and data security. Postgraduate degree or specialization in Data, Finance, or Business.
