We are currently seeking an **SMS Manager** **Job Description** This is a technical position supporting Sener’s industrial projects in Brazil and abroad. We seek an **SMS Manager with at least 10\-20 years of experience in the field.** **Work Location: São Paulo \- SP** **Work Model: Hybrid** **Your responsibilities will include:** * Responsible for structuring, implementing, and ensuring execution of the project’s SMS strategy, safeguarding personnel physical integrity, environmental protection, and legal compliance — aligned with client requirements, international standards, and corporate policies across all EPCM phases; * Develop and implement the Project SMS Plan (HSE Plan); * Ensure compliance with: (Brazilian legislation (NRs), environmental licenses, client requirements, and international standards (ISO)); * Lead SMS management in Engineering (project risk analysis); * Procurement (evaluation of critical suppliers); * Construction (field and contractor management); * Risk analyses (JSA, HAZID, HAZOP); * Accident prevention programs; * Emergency response plans; * Performance indicators (Safety and Environmental KPIs); * Investigation of accidents and incidents (including root cause analysis); * Risk analyses (JSA, HAZID, HAZOP); * Accident prevention programs; * Emergency response plans; * Performance indicators (Safety and Environmental KPIs); * Monitoring of accidents and incidents (including root cause analysis). **Education and Skills:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferred fields: Environmental, Occupational Safety, Production, Mechanical, Electrical); * Postgraduate degree in Environment or Risk Management is desirable or advantageous; * Experience in industrial projects (Thermal Power and Oil & Gas); * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); * Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in teams; * Exceptional organization and attention to detail, proactivity; * Ability to interact effectively with diverse profiles (engineers, technicians, operations staff); * Knowledge of, respect for, and application of Sener’s philosophy and core values, organizational and operational principles, standards, and procedures; * Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and promptly, establish priorities, and meet deadlines. **Key Benefits** * A permanent full-time employment contract. * A diverse and inclusive work environment offering numerous opportunities for personal and professional development aimed at helping you deliver your best performance while maintaining a balanced personal life. * Join a Global Business with world-class reputation and competence. **Our Commitment to Diversity** **Sener**’s mission is to serve its customers and society by providing advanced, accurate, and effective engineering solutions that enhance customers’ businesses and facilitate societal access to competitive, safe, sustainable, and state-of-the-art public services, equipment, and infrastructure.
