We are building something significant—and we seek people eager to be part of this story, with **intensity, focus, and excellence**. ### **Jusbrasil by the numbers:** Over 1.2 billion public-interest legal documents Over 1 PB of data on our technology infrastructure Over 30 million users Over 500 collaborators Over 80% of registered Brazilian lawyers **About the role** As a fullstack engineer at Jusbrasil, you will join the Search and EVAL teams (expected seniority level: L3/L4), which tackle core search and quality evaluation challenges: running A/B experiments and tests in search and recommendation flows, optimizing user behavior using data, and solving ranking, relevance, and result-quality issues. You will solve complex problems grounded in strong technical and analytical foundations; independently design, execute, and analyze experiments; and intensively use AI tools daily—not as occasional support, but as an integral part of your workflow. Prior experience in search systems is not required: with a solid engineering foundation, you can contribute technically from day one. You will collaborate closely with the Search and EVAL teams, Engineering leadership, and Product teams focused on the search experience. **What we’re looking for** * Solid experience with React Analytical profile—closer to Data Science than traditional fullstack software engineering. * Strong ability to solve complex problems and solid technical foundation * Experience with experimentation, testing, optimization, and user behavior analysis * Practical proficiency using AI tools daily (e.g., Cloud Code, Cursor, agents); intensive and fluent usage—not superficial * Strong technical communication skills and willingness to collaborate with peers and other teams * Prior experience with search systems is **not mandatory** **Nice-to-haves** * Prior experience with search systems (e.g., Elasticsearch or similar) * Academic background (Master’s or PhD) * Record of publications or applied research projects
