**Work model:** 100% Remote
**Your responsibilities:**
* Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams as the quality guardian of deliverables, adopting a Shift-Left mindset to embed quality early in the development lifecycle.
* Plan, design, and execute functional and non-functional tests, including End-to-End, regression, and integration tests.
* Define test strategies for deliverables, anticipate issues, and propose solutions aligned with project requirements.
* Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Robot Framework for APIs, integrations, and critical core banking workflows.
* Assess and ensure test automation feasibility, determining what to automate, when, and at which layer of the testing pyramid.
* Ensure code quality by performing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
* Validate messaging integrations with Kafka and AWS services (SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
* Detail acceptance criteria and test scenarios using BDD, in partnership with Product Owners, Developers, and Stakeholders.
* Participate across the entire Agile QA lifecycle—from story refinement to production monitoring—actively engaging in team ceremonies, understanding requirements, risks, and integration impacts.
* Investigate production issues leveraging metrics and observability tools (New Relic, Grafana, CloudWatch), with strong log reading and interpretation capabilities.
* Manipulate relational databases (PostgreSQL) for test data creation and management.
* Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., Kiro AWS, Claude, Playwright CLI with AI-assisted generation) to accelerate test creation, impact analysis, scenario generation, and issue investigation.
* Share knowledge within the Quality Community, establishing standards and disseminating testing best practices across the team.
**What we expect from you (Requirements)**
* Experience with E2E and API test automation tools, including AI-assisted test generation and maintenance.
* Experience with Kiro and Claude—or other AI assistants applied to quality engineering—for test generation, coverage analysis, scenario creation, and defect investigation.
* Solid experience as a QA / Automation Engineer working on mission-critical products.
* Proficiency in functional and non-functional testing techniques, with hands-on backend experience—and ideally frontend (web and mobile) as well.
* Experience with Robot Framework, Cypress, and Playwright for test automation (API, E2E, and regression).
* Strong expertise in manual and automated integration and API testing.
* Practical experience with version control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar).
* Experience testing Kafka-based systems (producers, consumers, asynchronous flows).
* Experience testing in AWS environments—especially SQS, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
* Experience applying BDD to user story refinement and detailed specification.
* Hands-on experience in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) and Agile QA—from planning through production monitoring.
* Experience with PostgreSQL relational databases—including writing queries and managing test datasets.
* Experience with application metrics and observability tools (New Relic, Grafana) and CI/CD practices.
* Ability to define acceptance criteria, test scenarios, impact analysis, and issue anticipation.
* Ability to define and track quality metrics.
**Nice-to-haves**
* Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Locust, or Gatling), load testing (K6), and contract testing (Pact).
* Familiarity with key AWS software development services (Lambda, S3, EventBridge, Step Functions, API Gateway, IAM).
* Knowledge of UX, usability, and accessibility principles as applied to the quality process.
