We are seeking a **Databricks Data Engineer** to work on a strategic data architecture migration project for one of our clients. Your primary challenge will be migrating objects developed in SAS Guide and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to Databricks, using the Medallion architecture to build a corporate Gold layer. You will work closely with the client to understand activity cards, grasp the scope of requirements, and reconstruct the objects in Databricks—ensuring compliance with documentation and modeling standards. We value committed, autonomous, organized individuals who communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients and technical teams. **Your day-to-day here** * Collaborate with the client’s team to understand requirements and activity scope. * Analyze the processes to be migrated and reconstruct them in Databricks. * Migrate processes developed in SAS Guide and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to a modern data architecture. * Build and evolve the Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold), with focus on establishing the corporate Gold layer. * Ensure deliverables meet documentation and modeling requirements. * Address technical challenges related to the migration process. * Work jointly with technical teams and clients to produce consistent and sustainable deliverables. **What we’re looking for** * Strong expertise in Databricks. * Knowledge of the Medallion architecture. * Experience migrating data objects and processes. * Strong communication skills to engage directly with clients and understand their requirements. * A committed, autonomous profile with solid self-management of tasks. * Ability to collaborate effectively and share knowledge. **Nice-to-have** * Experience with SAS Guide. * Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). * Certifications in Databricks, Azure, AWS, GCP, or Data Engineering. **The profile that will make a difference** We seek someone who enjoys working closely with clients, easily grasps business requirements, and translates them into technical solutions.
