Accident investigation and prevention plans We are seeking an Occupational Safety Engineer to work with clients in the mining sector. The professional will be responsible for ensuring employee safety in challenging work environments, such as power plants, substations, and construction sites. Responsibilities include developing and implementing safety policies, conducting inspections and audits, investigating accidents and incidents, preparing prevention plans, and other occupational safety-related activities. Develops, participates in developing, and implements occupational health and safety (OHS) policies; conducts audits, monitoring, and evaluation in this area; identifies control variables related to diseases, accidents, quality of life, and the environment. Develops educational initiatives in occupational health and safety, participates in expert assessments and inspections, and integrates negotiation processes. Participates in adopting technologies and work processes; investigates and analyzes accidents and recommends preventive and control measures. Manages teams and oversees occupational health and safety services within the organization.
