UNAERP announces the opening of a Selection Process to hire two Nursing Technicians \- Obstetric Center (Maternity) to work at Hospital Electro Bonini. Position: Nursing Technician \- Obstetric Center (Maternity) Location: Hospital Electro Bonini Workload: 200 hours per month Schedule: (12x36 Shift) 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM with a 1-hour break. Position: Nursing Technician \- Obstetric Center (Maternity) Location: Hospital Electro Bonini Workload: 200 hours per month Schedule: (12x36 Shift) 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM with a 1-hour break. \- Provide safe, humanized, and individualized nursing care to the mother-infant dyad under the supervision of a nurse, as well as collaborate in teaching and research activities conducted by the institution. \- Assist the supervisor in preventing and controlling communicable diseases in general, in epidemiological surveillance programs, and in systematic hospital infection control. \- Prepare pregnant women, laboring women, postpartum women, and neonates for consultations and examinations, advising them on conditions required for such procedures. \- Guide and assist pregnant women, laboring women, and postpartum women, providing information regarding hygiene, nutrition, medication use, and specific health treatment care. \- Set up and circulate in the operating room. Monitor vital signs and overall conditions of pregnant women, laboring women, postpartum women, and neonates according to medical and nursing prescriptions. \- Assist patients in collecting laboratory specimens following instructions. \- Prepare and administer medications via oral, topical, intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous, and rectal routes according to medical prescriptions and under nurse supervision. \- Carry out medical and nursing care prescriptions. \- Safely move and transport pregnant women, laboring women, postpartum women, and neonates. \- Assist in clinical emergency and urgent care, as well as in labor and postpartum care. \- Perform monitoring and documentation of departmental activities and other tasks necessary for report preparation and statistical control; ensure their preservation and promptly inform the supervisor of any issues. Requirements: \- Hold registration with the Regional Nursing Council (COREN). \- Have experience in an Obstetric Center/Maternity. \- Effective communication with patients, family members, and team colleagues. \- Empathy to foster a compassionate care environment. \- Organizational skills to manage tasks and maintain accurate records. Desirable: \- Ability to work under nurse supervision. \- Resilience to handle challenging situations. Compensation: \- Confidential.
