You will be part of the team responsible for evolving a high-complexity software platform, working from architecture definition through delivery of features impacting thousands of users. As a Senior Software Engineer, we expect you to serve as a technical reference for the team, contributing to building scalable, resilient, and high-quality solutions, while also supporting the continuous evolution of software engineering. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop high-complexity features and technical solutions, ensuring quality, performance, and security. * Propose and evolve architectures based on microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications. * Participate in defining technical solutions, supporting architectural decisions and the product’s technological evolution. * Investigate and resolve critical incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent improvements. * Develop reusable components, frameworks, and technical standards to accelerate team development. * Ensure application of software engineering best practices, including automated testing, continuous integration, code review, * version control, and observability. * Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and other teams in defining and implementing business solutions. * Serve as a technical reference for the team, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and sharing * knowledge. * Participate in proof-of-concepts (PoCs), evaluation of new technologies, and innovation initiatives. * Contribute to the platform’s continuous evolution, aiming for greater reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. ### **Mandatory Requirements:** * Solid software development experience. * Completed undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. * Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate (or equivalent ORM). * Experience developing REST APIs and integrating systems. * Experience with software architecture, microservices, distributed systems, scalability, and resilience. * Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent), NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch or similar), and caching solutions (Redis). * Hands-on experience with modern software engineering practices, including Clean Code, Design Patterns, API First, automated testing, and continuous integration. * Experience with Docker, Git, GitFlow, and CI/CD pipelines. * Knowledge of messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, Kafka or equivalent). * Experience with observability and production application troubleshooting (structured logs, metrics, and traces). * Familiarity with cloud providers (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure). * Knowledge of security in development (DevSecOps). ### **Desirable Requirements:** * Knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform. * Knowledge of distributed processing (Spark, Hadoop, Apache Beam, Dataflow, or Airflow). * Experience with asynchronous processing (Temporal IO, Celery or similar). * Knowledge of Feature Flag strategies and progressive deployment. * Experience with GitHub Copilot or AI tools applied to development. * Certifications in Java, Spring, Cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), or Kubernetes. * Residency in Joinville, São Paulo, or Curitiba and surrounding areas. **We strive to provide our team with a welcoming, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
