Prepare technical projects and drawings for tools and machinery. **Job Description** This position requires on-site work in Monte Alto\-SP. **Who will you work with?** Wabtec’s Development Engineering team is committed to delivering value to customers, operations, and people by developing new products based on technical specifications, rigorous quality controls, and implementation of high-performance production processes. **How will you make a difference?** As a member of the Development team, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions and products for various areas and requirements, as well as exploring and testing different production process technologies. You will develop new products, optimize research area performance, and report results and activities. You will prepare technical projects and drawings for tools and machinery—such as molds, fixtures, and others—using CAD software and basing your work on final product technical specifications to define tool characteristics. You will use general measuring instruments and perform technical calculations to guide your design work, defining materials, treatments, and physical and ergonomic characteristics of the project. Upon project definition, you will prepare detailed component drawings for manufacturing and develop 3D models for CAD/CAM programming. **What do we want to know about you?** * Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or a related field. * Experience in product development. * Experience in brake or vulcanized components production processes is a plus. * Intermediate English proficiency. **What will your day-to-day look like?** You will participate in the entire lifecycle of new product development, including involvement in tooling projects, supplier/incoming material development, preparation and submission of process documentation, performance and durability testing, monitoring of production tests, and issuance of validation reports. **Additional Information** **What could you achieve in an environment that truly puts People First?** At Wabtec, it’s not just about a job—it’s about the impact you create.
