We ensure operational availability within the Customer Service Directorate, managing incidents and collaborating closely with Corporate Technology teams and other business verticals. Our goal is to deliver an exceptional customer experience supported by robust and efficient systems. **The Role of the Technical Leader (TL)** The Technical Leader (TL) plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing software development best practices, grounded in agile methodologies. Within the Dev Team, the TL actively participates in agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, impact analysis, and product backlog item design. * **Technical Leadership:** Serve as technical leader for developers, guiding and supporting the team on a day-to-day basis **(Minimum 5 years)**. * **Best Practices and Quality:** Design and promote a set of best practices for agile software development. * **Refinement and Analysis:** Actively participate in backlog refinement, impact analysis, and product backlog item design. * **Discovery and Business Hypotheses:** Contribute actively to Discovery sessions, providing insights into business hypotheses from the perspective of development practices and application construction. * **Technical Direction:** Help define the product’s technical direction, ensuring development evolution and quality. * **Communication and Alignment:** Ensure clear communication between architectural decisions and software components. * **Standards and Compliance:** Ensure adherence to Porto’s software development standards, including secure development and all applicable technology standards for the Squad. * **Process Optimization:** Propose processes and tools that streamline the Squad’s daily work. * **Promotion of Technical Ceremonies:** Encourage developers to adopt technical processes and ceremonies such as estimation, technical definitions, GitFlow, and technical debt mapping. * **Code Quality:** Be accountable for code quality, alignment with acceptance criteria, maintenance, and continuous improvement. * **Strategic Alignment:** Follow guidance from Architecture, Tech Leads, Information Security, and other Software Engineering disciplines. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Requirements and Qualifications** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Technology-related fields. * **Agile Methodologies and DevOps:** Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in teams applying agile methodologies and DevOps practices. * **Programming Languages:** Solid knowledge of languages such as Java, Python, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, Angular, and PL\-SQL. * **Cloud:** Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) **(Minimum 3 years)**. * **Software Architecture:** Knowledge of software architecture, including SOLID principles, DDD (Domain\-Driven Design), and software development best practices **(Minimum 5 years)**. * **Microservices:** Knowledge of Microservices architecture **(Minimum 5 years)**. * **Containers:** Experience with Containers and Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). * **Chatbot Experience:** Experience with programming languages relevant to understanding the underlying code of chatbots, facilitating adjustments and collaboration with the development team. **Key Challenges of the Role** * Ensure availability and performance of critical customer service systems. * Provide technical leadership to the development team, fostering a high-performance environment and continuous learning. * Balance innovation with technical sustainability of systems. * Stay current with market trends and emerging technologies, applying them strategically. * Promote a culture of quality and software engineering best practices within the Squad. **Employment Model**: Remote **Contract Duration**: 3 months **Additional Information** **At our company, you’ll find a collaborative environment and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your growth, health, and quality of life.
