This position combines solid engineering fundamentals with practical experience in modern software development practices and tools, supporting a modernization project of a legacy systems portfolio for an enterprise client. **What you will do in this role:** * Collaborate as an active member of a software delivery squad alongside highly qualified software engineers. * Develop applications using technologies such as Java/Spring or C\#/.NET. * Apply AI-assisted development tools and Harness Engineering practices, maintaining rigorous software engineering quality standards. * Advocate for and support the adoption of these practices across the team. * Investigate and reverse engineer legacy codebases to support modernization efforts. * Contribute technical feedback and insights throughout the product development lifecycle. **This position is right for you if you:** * Have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. * Have solid professional experience in software development. * Have strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, C\#, or similar languages. * Have solid mastery of software development best practices, including design patterns, shift-left testing, and CI/CD. * Have strong skills in relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server). * Have practical knowledge of modern cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related tools (Kubernetes, containerization). * Have practical experience with at least one AI coding harness (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) and a solid understanding of its ecosystem (skills, agents, specification-driven development, etc.). * Are open to learning new ways of working and driving innovation through modern tools and practices. * Have advanced English, both written and spoken. * Have a strong collaborative profile, with a proven track record of working effectively in distributed and cross-functional engineering teams. **It would be great if you have:** * Previous experience in adjacent software development roles (front-end development, QA analyst, DevOps engineer, etc.); familiarity with AI-enabled application development (MCP servers, agents, etc.). * Experience with the Microsoft stack (.NET, Azure, Azure DevOps). * Familiarity with SAP and PowerBuilder. * Experience with system modernization, progressive refactoring, and phased deprecation of enterprise systems. **Where you will be based** Remote BR **Benefits of being e\-Corean!** We offer a flexible benefits package: with e\-Core BeneFlex, our e\-Coreans can build a benefits package according to their profile and needs.
