Job Summary: Responsible for supervising controller functions, coordinating budget monitoring, and managing internal controls of an industrial unit, while leading a team. Key Highlights: 1. Team development and qualification Main Responsibilities: \- Supervise the industrial unit's controller routines: accounting, costs, assets, and tax records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and internal group procedures. \- Coordinate the plant's budget monitoring, tracking expenses, investments, and Capex against established assumptions, with structured reporting to leadership. \- Manage the unit's internal controls, conducting asset inventories, identifying deficient processes, and implementing corrective actions. \- Monitor industrial cost activities: extraction rates, scrap, production orders, and inventory movements, ensuring seamless accounting closings and appropriate provisions. \- Lead and develop the local controller team, promoting technical qualification, process alignment, and support to other unit departments on controller and tax compliance matters. Requirements: \- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, or Economics; postgraduate degree in Controller Functions or Finance is a plus; active CRC (Regional Accounting Council) registration is desirable for candidates with an accounting background. \- Minimum of five years in leadership positions at large companies, with experience in industrial environments and expertise in plant controller functions (costs, matrix budgeting, internal controls, and tax compliance). \- Solid knowledge of tax legislation, internal and external audit processes, and advanced Excel; familiarity with market ERP systems (SAP, TOTVS, or similar) is desirable.
