Job Summary: We are looking for a Shopify MERN developer to maintain, improve, and evolve an advanced translation app for the Shopify App Store with strong growth potential. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to evolve an existing product We are seeking a **Shopify MERN developer** to join our team and help take our product to the next level. **About the product** This is an **advanced translation app** available on the **Shopify App Store**, designed for **Shopify stores**. The solution translates **all store content**, as well as **integrated third-party apps**, ensuring a consistent multilingual experience. The app is already published (limited visibility) and currently has **14 subscribers**. We are making final adjustments before broader launch. Initial development was handled by an external team; now we aim to bring someone in-house to **maintain, improve, and evolve** the product continuously. Currently, the infrastructure is **hosted on DigitalOcean**, but we are open to **migrating** to another platform if a superior alternative is recommended. **What we’re looking for** * Solid experience with the **Shopify ecosystem** (apps, APIs, OAuth, webhooks, billing, etc.). * Proficiency in the **MERN Stack** (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js). * Experience with **Remix** and **Shopify Polaris**. * Familiarity with **AI APIs** (e.g., **DeepSeek**, **OpenAI**, etc.). * Strong practices in performance, security, and DX (linting, testing, CI/CD). * Autonomy, attention to detail, and results orientation. **Conditions** * **Employment type:** 100% remote * **Schedule:** Part-time (4–5 hours/day) * Opportunity for full-time If you have Shopify experience and want to contribute to an app with strong growth potential, we’d love to speak with you!
