Collaboration with teams to support inclusion and accessibility **Job Description** We are seeking a **Bilingual Libras Interpreter (TILS)** to work in an educational setting, responsible for translation and interpretation between **Brazilian Sign Language (Libras)** and **Portuguese**, ensuring communicative accessibility and supporting pedagogical and institutional activities. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform **simultaneous or consecutive translation and interpretation** between Libras and Portuguese in academic and institutional activities. * Work in classrooms, meetings, events, and other educational activities requiring communicative accessibility. * Promote the use and dissemination of **Libras** in the educational environment. * Ensure fidelity, clarity, and professional ethics in all interpretations performed. * Collaborate with pedagogical and administrative teams to ensure inclusion and accessibility. **Mandatory Requirements:** A bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation with specialization in Libras-Portuguese, obtained from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), and at least 2 (two) years of documented professional experience as a TILS in an educational context; and/or A bachelor's degree in Languages (Letras) from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), A proficiency certificate in Libras/Portuguese/Libras Translation and Interpretation — Upper Level (PROLIBRAS National Lifelong Examination administered by the MEC) or Level 1 Declaration issued by the National Federation of Education and Integration of the Deaf (FENEIS), and at least 3 (three) years of documented professional experience as a TILS in an educational context; and/or A bachelor's degree in any field from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), A proficiency certificate in Libras/Portuguese/Libras Translation and Interpretation — Upper Level (PROLIBRAS National Lifelong Examination administered by the MEC) or Level 1 Declaration issued by the National Federation of Education and Integration of the Deaf (FENEIS), and at least 3 (three) years of documented professional experience as a TILS in an educational context.
