The Systems Architecture Specialist at BV Bank is a professional who works on topics impacting the entire bank, with high strategic relevance and business impact, adopting a consulting and proactive perspective—both internally (within the company) and externally (financial industry and beyond). ### **Take a look at the challenges awaiting you at BV:** * Analyze and define technical solutions addressing business needs, identifying integrations, systemic impacts, and reuse opportunities; Develop solution designs with both technical and functional perspectives using the EA tool Bizz Design, always oriented toward cloud; * Be able to create business, technical, and functional blueprints and present solutions to IT and business executives; Guide executives on more technical decisions by preparing detailed analyses, trade-offs, etc.; * Create artifacts following the C4 model standard; * Understand legacy systems (AS IS), their technological structure, and propose modernization initiatives (TO BE); * Conduct make-or-buy analysis; * Create and update value streams and capability maps; * Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, resilience, efficiency, functional alignment, and non-functional business requirements; * Generate reference documentation such as standards, guidelines, and principles; * Identify and manage technical debt that may pose risks, and direct prioritization and resolution efforts; * Actively participate in special, transformational projects; * * Disseminate technical knowledge and prepare BV’s engineering team in business, software, and solution architecture practices—facilitating workshops and events; Mentor architects on functional and technical challenges. ### **So, do you identify with this? Now we’d like to know whether you possess the following profile and knowledge:** * Prior experience in system development, preferably in Java, Node.js, and Python; * Experience leading PoCs and technology evaluations; * Experience designing architecture solutions in cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), preferably on GCP. Experience guiding the adoption of self-managed solutions; * Experience in legacy and monolithic system modernization projects; * Experience in application integration (APIs, Web Services, Messaging, Orchestrators, Microservices) and distributed architectures; * Practical experience architecting and designing enterprise-level solutions; * Experience in Application/System Architecture, Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD); * Experience with data storage, transfer, and transformation solutions; * Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe); * Architectural diagramming using standard market tools (UML); * Knowledge of Discovery methods, MVP development, and experimentation; * Knowledge of FinOps and DevSecOps (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, etc.); * Knowledge of Data Lake concepts and data tools; * Knowledge of SRE (observability, high-availability solutions); * Knowledge of cybersecurity, OAuth2, JWT, Active Directory (AD), cryptography, WAF, firewalls, and other application security aspects; Mandatory: * Cloud certifications—GCP; * Experience in architecture projects targeting legacy system modernization for cloud; * Prior experience in the financial sector (banks, payment processors, brokerage firms, insurance companies, finance companies, etc.); ### **It would be a plus if you have:** * Experience and participation in Wholesale Banking (Corporate and Investment Banking) projects; * English proficiency for oral and written communication; **Diversity and inclusion** * We invite Black individuals, women, professionals with disabilities, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and people of all ages to learn more about us and apply to this position.
