**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Develop, review, and optimize complex SQL queries in BigQuery;
* Build and maintain analytical tables in the Trusted and Refined layers;
* Support relational, dimensional, and analytical data modeling;
* Create, adjust, and sustain data pipelines orchestrated via Airflow / Cloud Composer;
* Implement business logic in SQL with emphasis on traceability, clarity, and performance;
* Perform validations across Raw, Trusted, and Refined layers;
* Identify and resolve issues related to data volume, duplication, data typing, granularity, and relationships;
* Support discrepancy analysis between source systems and consolidated tables;
* Work with code versioning, script organization, and engineering best practices;
* Build mechanisms for monitoring and validating data quality;
* Support data consumers with questions regarding business logic, data origin, granularity, and proper table usage;
* Participate in technical discussions to define architecture, performance, partitioning, clustering, and data contracts;
* Document rules, workflows, tables, relationships, keys, and validation criteria.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Advanced experience with SQL;
* Practical experience with BigQuery;
* Knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling;
* Ability to interpret complex business rules and translate them into SQL;
* Experience building data pipelines;
* Knowledge of Airflow or Cloud Composer;
* Experience with cloud environments, preferably GCP;
* Familiarity with Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Raw, Trusted, and Refined layers;
* Experience with data processing, standardization, typing, and deduplication;
* Knowledge of partitioning, clustering, and query optimization;
* Experience with Git or another version control system;
* Ability to analyze logs, identify errors, and propose fixes;
* Strong communication skills to interact with technical teams and business areas.
**Nice-to-Haves:**
* Experience with Power BI and semantic modeling;
* Knowledge of Tabular Editor;
* Knowledge of healthcare, clinical, or financial processes;
* Experience with data monitoring, volume tracking, reconciliation, and quality assurance;
* Experience with CI/CD for data;
* Familiarity with technical documentation and data contracts.
