We are seeking a professional responsible for performing operational, administrative, and maintenance activities related to ensuring the operability of power system equipment at the company’s energy generation facilities and locks, in compliance with company-established standards, routines, and procedures, aiming to guarantee maximum asset availability and reliability.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Know all operation, safety, environmental, and asset management procedures through regular reading and training on all relevant procedures, with the objective of complying with and enforcing the company’s regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and verify documentation for work permit processes using the intervention management system, diagrams, and manuals, with the objective of releasing equipment for maintenance in accordance with operation, health and safety, and asset management procedures.
* Monitor maintenance activities through field inspections to identify non-conformities related to operation, health, safety, environmental, and asset management procedures.
* Record all switching operations, incidents, events, and other relevant facts using the event management system, with the objective of generating the facility’s historical record and complying with legislation and company procedures.
* Monitor equipment operational parameters via Supervisory and Control Systems (SCS) and field inspections, with the objective of tracking trends related to the behavior of generation and lock assets.
* Perform visual inspection routes using the route management system and Work Procedure Manual (WPM) to identify failures, defects, and anomalies in assets. Raise anomaly reports via the maintenance management system to notify responsible areas for correction of identified defects.
* Operate, switch, isolate, and lock out local equipment using Switching Programs (SP) and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) devices, with the objective of meeting local needs, Generation and Energy Operations Center (CO) requests, and releasing equipment for maintenance.
* Operate generation and lock assets at the facility under coordination of the Generation and Energy Operations Center, using SCS or any other available operating mode, with the objective of meeting local and CO requirements, addressing contingencies, and ensuring safe utilization.
* Authorize service execution by issuing documents from the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS), with the objective of releasing maintenance activities.
* Interact with internal and external areas using available communication resources, with the objective of ensuring correct information flow related to operation and maintenance processes.
* Maintain operation-exclusive equipment in usable condition through routine inspections, with the objective of ensuring safety during area activities.
* Monitor the overall condition of the facility through inspection, recording, and reporting of identified abnormalities using available tools, with the objective of ensuring safe and adequate working conditions.
* Mobilize maintenance teams to respond to urgent or emergency situations using available communication resources, with the objective of restoring normal equipment or system conditions as quickly as possible.
* Operate gates under CO coordination using gantries, aiming to ensure facility safety and full asset functionality.
* Assess the operational condition of assets through analysis and interpretation of operational parameters and trends, with the objective of supporting decision-making.
* Monitor the correction process of anomalies and defects in equipment by verifying the status of anomaly/defect reports for generation and lock assets in the maintenance management system, to ensure timely completion.
* Perform thermographic and vibration inspection routes using the route management system and WPM, to identify failures, defects, and anomalies in assets.
* Execute preventive maintenance plans assigned to maintenance personnel, as defined in the maintenance management system and following the specific WPM for the activity, with the objective of ensuring proper equipment operation.
* Perform autonomous maintenance activities through minor repairs, deterioration prevention, and minor improvements to equipment at energy generation and lock facilities, as established in the Work Procedure Manual (WPM), with the objective of maintaining operability and improving equipment performance.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Technical education in Electronics, Electrotechnics, or Electromechanics, with active registration in the respective professional council;
* Knowledge of hydroelectric power plants is desirable;
* Basic knowledge of the energy sector and hydroelectric power plants;
* Skills in teamwork, initiative, leadership, interpersonal relationships, and communication.

* Willingness to reside in Bariri/SP.
* Willingness to travel and drive light vehicles.
