Job Summary: The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for analyzing and verifying tax documents, calculating taxes, preparing tax returns, and monitoring tax legislation to support process optimization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Analyze and verify tax documents to ensure compliance. 2. Calculate taxes and prepare tax returns. 3. Participate in improving the organization's tax processes. The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for analyzing and verifying tax documents to ensure the company fulfills its tax obligations. Additionally, this role involves calculating taxes, preparing tax returns, and monitoring tax legislation. This professional may also assist in implementing improvements to the organization's tax processes, aiming for optimization and compliance with current legislation. * Analyze and verify tax documents, checking the correct calculation of taxes and contributions * Calculate direct and indirect taxes, such as ICMS, IPI, PIS, and COFINS * Prepare and review tax returns, including SPED Fiscal, EFD\-Contributions, and DCTF * Monitor updates in tax legislation to ensure compliance with tax obligations * Participate in projects implementing tax systems and improving departmental processes * Perform accounting and tax reconciliations, identifying and correcting potential discrepancies * Prepare management reports containing relevant tax information for decision-making * Handle tax audits and inspections by providing required documents and information * Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure integration and alignment of information * Participate in training and capacity-building activities to stay updated on tax and fiscal practices
