




**Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** 44 hours per week (220 hours per month) **Level:** Professional **Employment Type:** Tenured \- CLT labor code 1\. Attend patients by performing clinical procedures for prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation; 2\. Conduct occupational and clinical audiometric examinations; 3\. Assess clients’ impairments by performing phonetic and language assessments, audiometry, recordings, and other appropriate techniques; 4\. Develop and implement the Hearing Loss Prevention Program (PPPA); 5\. Apply speech-language pathology procedures and develop prevention, health promotion, and quality-of-life programs; 6\. Prepare technical reports and assessments within their area of expertise; 7\. Perform tasks relevant to their field of practice using computer equipment and software; 8\. Treat patients through speech-language pathology evaluation and diagnosis; 9\. Advise patients, family members, caregivers, and responsible parties by providing information on procedures and treatments; 10\. Implement prevention, health promotion, and quality-of-life programs through contributions to related initiatives; 11\. Carry out other activities of similar complexity inherent to their role. Click here to access the full notice. **Requirements:** **Mandatory Qualification:** Completed undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology with active registration at the professional council. **Desirable Qualification:** Specialization in Audiology or Occupational Health. Training in occupational audiometry, calibration of audiometric equipment, and interpretation of audiologic examinations according to Fundacentro standards and Ordinance No. 19/1998. Desirable knowledge of Hearing Conservation Program (PCA) management and computerized occupational health systems. **Experience:** Proven experience in occupational and clinical audiometry, development and implementation of hearing conservation programs, interpretation of audiometric examinations, and issuance of technical opinions. Work experience in industrial companies or occupational health units. **Technical Competencies:** Performing occupational audiometric examinations, issuing technical reports and assessments, analyzing results for NIHL prevention, monitoring equipment calibration, developing educational activities, advising companies on noise regulations, participating in integrated risk analyses, and contributing to SESI’s Occupational Safety and Health (SST) programs. **Behavioral Competencies:** Technical reasoning and precision in interpreting auditory examinations. Strong communication skills and empathy when interacting with workers and teams. Organization and attention to detail in preparing reports and audiologic records. Proactivity and professional ethics in adhering to technical protocols. Ability to work effectively in industrial environments and multidisciplinary teams.
