Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking three **Senior Data Engineers** to work on a strategic project focused on transforming and evolving the data platform, with emphasis on Datalake and Databricks environments. We seek professionals with solid experience in data engineering, strong execution capability, and a hands\-on profile, who will develop and sustain highly critical data pipelines, process large volumes of information, and modernize analytical solutions. If you enjoy complex challenges, dynamic environments, and high-impact projects, this opportunity may be for you. **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop, maintain, and enhance data ingestion and processing pipelines in Datalake and Databricks environments; * Work on ingestion, transformation, cleansing, and standardization of data from multiple sources; * Process large volumes of text files while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability; * Support the creation and evolution of analytical datasets for consumption by business areas and analytics teams; * Modernize and migrate legacy routines to more modern architectures; * Ensure data quality, consistency, traceability, and governance; * Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization of data pipelines; * Collaborate with technical teams and business areas to understand and detail requirements; * Contribute to best practices in data engineering, observability, documentation, and automation; * Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, development, and productivity gains within team activities. **Requirements and qualifications** * Solid experience in Data Engineering; * Advanced knowledge of Datalake and Databricks; * Experience building and maintaining data ingestion and processing pipelines; * Experience processing large volumes of data and text files; * Proficiency in SQL, Python, and SAS; * Experience with distributed processing using Spark and/or PySpark; * Knowledge of data modeling for analytical consumption; * Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing pipelines; * Experience in modernization and migration projects (e.g., SAS to modern platforms); * Experience with data orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory or similar; * Experience with Claude Code or other AI tools applied to development, automation, and code analysis. **Desirable:** * Advanced knowledge of PySpark; * Experience in financial market projects or critical data environments; * Knowledge of data governance, quality, and observability; * Experience with modern cloud-based data architecture. **Additional information** * Competitive compensation based on experience; * Opportunities for career growth and participation in strategic projects; * Dynamic and challenging work environment; * Opportunity to work at a rapidly expanding company in the market.
