Senior Data Engineer

Description

We are looking for a **Senior Data Engineer** to work on strategic data projects, contributing from understanding business needs to implementing scalable and robust solutions. **Responsibilities and duties** * Translate business requirements into data engineering problems and solutions. * Design, develop, and implement scalable and resilient data pipelines. * Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes. * Ensure quality, performance, and governance of implemented solutions. * Participate in defining data engineering architectures and standards. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, supporting data-driven initiatives. * Perform troubleshooting and optimization of data processes and environments. **Requirements and qualifications** * Solid experience in Data Engineering. * Proficiency in **PySpark** for distributed data processing. * Experience with **Apache Airflow** for pipeline orchestration. * Knowledge of **Amazon EMR**. * Experience with **Kubernetes**-based environments. * Knowledge of **Apache Kafka** for data processing and integration. * Proficiency in **SQL**. * Knowledge of **Software Engineering**, including best development practices, version control, and Clean Code. * Experience with AWS cloud environments. **Desirable:** * Experience in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions. * Knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and modern data architectures. * Experience with CI/CD applied to data projects. * Experience with observability and monitoring of pipelines. **Additional information** * Competitive compensation based on experience; * Opportunities for career growth within the company and participation in strategic projects; * Dynamic and challenging work environment; * Opportunity to work at a rapidly expanding company in the market.
