Basic preventive maintenance of roller compactors #### **Responsibilities** * Operate various types of roller compactors (smooth, sheep's foot, vibratory) on civil construction sites involving earthworks, paving, and infrastructure projects. * Perform compaction of soils, base layers, sub\-base layers, and asphalt mixtures, adhering to project technical specifications and technological control tests. * Conduct daily pre\-operation inspections (check\-list) of equipment, verifying oil, water, fuel levels, tire/cylinder condition, and hydraulic systems. * Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep of the roller compactor, immediately reporting any anomalies, malfunctions, or maintenance requirements. * Strictly comply with occupational safety regulations (NRs) and company standard operating procedures (SOPs) for heavy machinery operation. * Monitor compaction indicators and ensure alignment and leveling according to topographic specifications. * Record productivity data, working hours, and incidents during the work shift. #### **Requirements** * Proven experience (minimum 2 years) operating roller compactors on civil construction sites. * Valid and unrestricted Brazilian National Driver's License (CNH) category D or E. * Certificate from a recognized training institution for Heavy Machinery Operator course, with focus on roller compactors. * Basic knowledge of heavy machinery mechanics and electricity for identifying primary failures and performing simple preventive maintenance tasks. * Familiarity with reading and interpreting civil engineering drawings and technical specifications for soil and asphalt compaction. * Knowledge of applicable Regulatory Standards (NRs) for machinery and equipment operation, especially NR\-11 and NR\-12\. * Ability to work effectively in teams and follow instructions from engineers and site supervisors. #### **Skills** * Roller Compactor Operation (Vibratory/Smooth/Sheep's Foot) * Basic Preventive Maintenance (Roller Compactor) * Operational Safety (NR\-11, NR\-12\) * Level and Alignment Reading (Basic Topography) * Mechanical Fault Diagnosis (Basic) * Soil and Asphalt Compaction * Category D/E Driving License ### **Employment Type:** CLT ### **Benefits:** Meal Voucher, Performance Bonus, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Wellhub \- formerly Gympass, Life Insurance, Transportation Allowance/Reimbursement, Accommodation, On\-site Meals ### **Department:** OPERATIONAL
