Machining Technical Operator

Description

Job Summary: Operate, set up, and enhance machining machines and measuring equipment, interpreting technical drawings and performing simple maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Development in CNC program programming and correction. Key Responsibilities: * Operate, set up, and implement improvements to ensure availability of machining machines (conventional and CNC), balancing machines, honing machines, and measuring equipment; * Perform deburring, sanding, cleaning, and quality testing on parts; * Interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, manufacturing plans, and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.); * Execute machine setups and adjustments according to work instructions; * Complete production control documents (OEE, FAP, OP, etc.); * Perform simple mechanical maintenance and lubrication of machining equipment; * Support 5S, TPM, and workplace safety practices; * Support training of new employees per the multi-skilling matrix. Essential Technical Requirements: * Technical course in Mechanical Engineering or a related vocational qualification (SENAI or equivalent); * Knowledge in: + Solid experience in machining; + Multi-skilling matrix: 21 machines / 7 developed competencies; + Interpretation of technical drawings and machining procedures; + Metrology and technical production charts; + CNC program programming and correction; + Completion of performance indicators (OEE and SPC). Desirable Differentiators: * Proficiency in MS Office; * Experience with 5S, SMED, and TPM.
