Job Summary: Responsible for calibrating, inspecting, and maintaining measuring equipment and instruments, ensuring proper operation and workplace safety. Key Highlights: 1. Commitment to safety and quality standards DESCRIPTION: Calibrate and inspect measuring equipment and instruments. * Select and properly use tools or equipment employed in process measurement and control. * Perform maintenance on mechanical instruments and equipment used in instrumentation, replacing defective parts and detecting abnormal operating conditions. * Perform maintenance on electronic instruments and equipment, detecting abnormal operating conditions. * Read and interpret functional electrical diagrams and process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). * Comply with occupational health, safety, and hygiene regulations and rules. * Assess the need for repair or replacement of damaged tools. * Record working hours, services performed, and calibrated instruments for control purposes. * Support REMA TIP TOP’s General Training Plan by participating in and implementing procedures and standards learned during training. * Respond to requests related to your area (cleaning, maintenance, etc.). * Maintain constant communication with Foremen, Supervisors, and the Manager to ensure all job-related requirements are met. * Carry out assigned tasks and promptly inform immediate supervisors of any interference affecting service execution, when requested. * Operate calibration and measurement instruments. * Comply with all instructions from superiors, provided they do not jeopardize physical or mental integrity, while respecting REMA TIP TOP’s Code of Ethics and Safety Standards. * Prepare required materials and equipment for execution, under guidance. * Perform maintenance related to workplace cleanliness and organization. * If licensed, occasionally drive vehicles as a substitute or assistant to the driver, transporting personnel and equipment.
