If this resonates with you, register now and join our team.*** **Responsibilities and Duties** ✓ Perform elective and urgent/emergency surgical care for patients; ✓ Request diagnostic tests and/or hospital admissions; ✓ Perform surgical interventions using appropriate technical resources and materials to correct sequelae or injuries and/or establish surgical diagnoses, aiming for full patient recovery; ✓ Respect and support the improvement of operational norms and procedures; ✓ Participate in meetings essential to technical-scientific development; ✓ Enhance medical care quality, improving the physician-patient relationship; ✓ Fulfill assigned work schedules within the unit to ensure rationalization, comfort, and safety for patients and staff; ✓ Report adverse events and health incidents; ✓ Support hospital coordinators on matters related to your area of expertise, proposing and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities to inform action planning and support continuous process improvement; ✓ Participate, alongside the multidisciplinary team, in continuous health education programs, permanent committees, health surveillance programs, biosafety, hospital epidemiology, and accident prevention; ✓ Observe ethical principles throughout the execution of your duties; ✓ Participate in health surveillance, biosafety, hospital epidemiology, and accident prevention programs; ✓ Respond to institutional requests to serve as Preceptor, Tutor, Instructor, and/or Coordinator in teaching activities; ✓ Participate in developing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manuals, Risk Management Plans (RMPs), or protocols for your area of responsibility, and guide your practice accordingly; ✓ Attend meetings, trainings, and committees as required; ✓ Assist in training other team members upon request from management. ✓ Ensure proper care of materials and equipment under your responsibility to extend their useful life; ✓ Perform duties observing occupational safety requirements, correctly using PPE in all activities, complying with current legislation and institutional regulations; ✓ Support your immediate supervisor on matters related to your area of expertise, proposing and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities to inform action planning and support continuous process improvement; ✓ Perform other related tasks of equivalent difficulty upon request from your immediate supervisor **Requirements and Qualifications** 1 \- Specialist Qualification Registration (RQE) with the Regional Medical Council as a General Surgeon, or proof of application for such registration; 2 \- Specialist Qualification Registration (RQE) with the Regional Medical Council as a Coloproctologist, or proof of application for such registration; **Additional Information** Work schedule: To be defined with the department management, based on shift availability; Monthly salary for a 60-hour workload (12 hours/week): R$ 5\.739,40; Meal/food allowance at on-site cafeteria: monthly contribution of R$ 20.00 for employees working over 6 hours per shift; Food card worth R$ 220.00/month \+ additional credit upon return from vacation; Health assistance (medical, dental, and aeromedical): special conditions for employees, spouse, and children, available starting from the 4th month of employment; Discounts on undergraduate and postgraduate courses at partner institutions; Training via PBH Platform; Gympass/Wellhub: available starting from the 4th month of employment; Access to UpToDate platform. **Selection Process\*:** 1\- Registration/candidacy on the platform for the position / Resume review; 2\- Document verification and interview with case study. * All stages are both eliminatory and evaluative. It has 460 beds, including 80 ICU beds, and 16 operating rooms. HMDCC specializes in clinical, surgical, and stroke emergency and urgent care, with referrals coordinated and regulated by the Belo Horizonte Municipal Health Secretariat’s Hospital Admission Center. We are also a reference for the SUS-BH Network and for Minas Gerais in high-complexity care across the following specialties: internal medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, and urology.
