This role requires strong technical seniority, expertise in backend development, hands-on experience with microservices, distributed systems, messaging, observability, and the ability to operate effectively in complex environments. Practical knowledge of GoLang will be considered a significant advantage. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Developing, evolving, and maintaining backend applications primarily using Python. * Designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions. * Applying software engineering best practices, including coding standards, design patterns, and unit testing. * Working with architectures based on microservices, messaging, and distributed systems. * Supporting technical decisions related to architecture, quality, performance, and scalability of applications. * Implementing and monitoring observability practices—monitoring, logging, metrics, and performance analysis. * Collaborating closely with the technical team, participating in code reviews, refinement sessions, and architectural discussions. * Using Git in collaborative workflows such as GitFlow, trunk-based development, or similar. **What you need to have:** * Solid experience as a Senior Backend Developer. * Strong proficiency in backend development with Python. * In-depth knowledge of software development—including coding standards, design patterns, and unit testing. * Solid understanding of architectural patterns. * Experience with microservices, messaging, and distributed systems. * Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring of high-performance applications. * Experience with Git in collaborative workflows such as GitFlow, trunk-based development, or similar. * Analytical, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset. * Ability to operate autonomously in technically complex environments. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Knowledge or practical experience with GoLang. * Experience in high-volume environments or mission-critical applications. * Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and pipeline automation. * Experience with public cloud, containers, and orchestration. * Experience with queues, events, and message-oriented architecture. * Familiarity with performance metrics, tracing, logging, and APM tools.
