Mid-Level Data Scientist Position (Remote)

We promote a **development-oriented environment** in our day\-to\-day operations, where Atlantes are our top priority; thus, one of our strongest values is **“People Appreciation.”** It’s no coincidence that we rank among the best IT companies to work for in Brazil, according to the GPTW ranking. **Education:** * Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. **Experience:** * **Success Cases:** Practical experience in Data Science and Machine Learning projects, mastering all stages of the Data Science project lifecycle. * **Machine Learning \& Deep Learning:** Supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning algorithms, as well as Deep Neural Networks (TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch; CNN, RNN, Transformer architectures). * **Advanced Python programming:** Data manipulation, pipeline development, API integrations, and automation (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit\-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM, etc.). * **Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques:** Practical knowledge of SHAP, Partial Dependence Analysis, etc. * **Feature Engineering, Statistics \& Probability:** Familiarity with statistical evaluation metrics (R², MAE, RMSE), hypothesis testing, regression analysis, probability distributions, ANOVA, predictive modeling, and cross-validation techniques. **Desirable (Advantages):** * Prior experience in Industry 4\.0 projects and industrial manufacturing processes. * Familiarity with relational databases and ETL/ingestion pipelines. * Experience handling time-series data, IoT data, or industrial data (PLCs, sensors). * Knowledge of integration with factory systems (SCADA systems, PLCs, industrial ERPs). * Experience with MLOps, model degradation monitoring (*Model Drift*), and production deployment. * Language: Intermediate English ***Join Atlante!!!***
