Fabricate and repair wooden furniture and components, applying required finishes, following drawings and specifications, using planers, drills, sanders, saws, lathes, and other appropriate machines and tools, aiming to meet the Institution's needs. **Responsibilities and duties** * Fabricate and repair wooden furniture and components, applying required finishes, following drawings and specifications, using planers, drills, sanders, saws, lathes, etc., as well as necessary materials, to meet the Institution's needs; * Prepare drawings of furniture to be fabricated, as requested, to determine the materials required for fabrication; * Perform layout marking and point marking on the wood to be worked, adhering to shapes and dimensions indicated in drawings and sketches, to guide cutting and carving operations; * Work marked wood by cutting, turning, or carving, using appropriate tools and machines to achieve the desired shape; * Perform necessary joinery on processed parts to prepare them for furniture assembly; * Assemble processed parts by joining and securing them with glue, nails, or screws; * Install hardware such as hinges, handles, etc., on assembled furniture to enable handling; * Paint, varnish, or wax assembled components and furniture, using cotton pads, brushes, or other applicable methods; * Perform other activities as required or at management's discretion. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed elementary education; * Knowledge of carpentry tool and equipment handling is desirable; * Experience in the field is an advantage. **Additional information** Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:48\.
