The Legião da Boa Vontade – LBV is hiring a **Social Worker**:
The **Social Worker** plays a fundamental role in guaranteeing rights, promoting social well-being, and improving the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities. They are responsible for providing guidance on social services to people facing social vulnerability, rights violations, and social risks, clarifying their rights and responsibilities to validate them and ensure their social autonomy. The goal is to foster protagonism and development among these individuals, contributing to both their theoretical and practical formation, aiming at emancipation and strengthening of family bonds, as established by the National Social Assistance Policy.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Provide users of socio-assistance services with security of reception, family and community coexistence, and autonomy development through qualified actions aimed at expanding access to rights and social protection.
* Monitor user development aligned with service objectives through individual and multidisciplinary interventions, home visits, referrals, coordination with the care network, and organizing family meetings.
* Conduct case studies and follow-ups as needed, assessing users’ individual needs and developing personalized intervention plans.
* Provide individual and group support to users and their families, entering information into the institutional system.
* Prepare reports, technical opinions, and assessments whenever requested.
* Conduct social diagnostics for mapping and directing services provided.
* Perform reception, qualified listening, and service referrals, entering information into the institutional system.
* Monitor socio-assistance services and provide support to the coexistence team.
* Plan and propose socioeducational activities.
* Complete the annual activity report and other documents required for service registration and maintenance with regulatory bodies, ensuring necessary certifications for appropriate work execution. This process includes providing detailed information about activities carried out throughout the year, results achieved, resources used, and any other relevant information demonstrating the effectiveness and quality of services offered.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Completed Bachelor’s Degree in **Social Work**, with active registration at the Regional Council of Social Work
* Prior experience in Basic and/or Special Social Protection Services and in Services for Coexistence and Strengthening of Bonds (SCFV) is desirable.
* Driver’s license category B
**Additional Information**
* Workload: **150 hours per month**
* Schedule: **8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Monday to Friday)**
