Collaborate with the development team in seeking solutions **[Tech] Junior Backend Software Engineering - ADVPL** ========================================================== TOTVS | Remote Job Description Work on development and maintenance of low-to-medium complexity software features, contributing to the delivery of solutions that add value to the product and promote customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with the development team, applying defined best practices, tools, and technologies to ensure technical and functional quality of deliverables within the scope of responsibility. Responsibilities and Duties · Develop technical solutions with moderate supervision and support, based on software requirements and using project-defined technologies. · Understand and apply software architecture, analyzing its components, organization, and functionalities to ensure coherent implementation aligned with system design. · Create and execute low-complexity tests—manual or automated—to validate expected behavior of developed components, using available requirements and testing tools. · Document developed solutions clearly and structurally, enabling end-user understanding and facilitating software maintenance. · Collaborate with the development team in seeking technical, business, and architectural solutions, promoting knowledge sharing and effective communication. · Ensure software quality through application of defined processes, tools, and best practices for the product and utilized technology. · Use established frameworks and patterns, appropriately adapting them to product development needs. Requirements and Qualifications Education * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields (preferred), either completed or in progress. Technical Knowledge * Programming logic. * Basic knowledge of relational databases. * Basic knowledge of the ADVPL programming language. * Fundamentals of unit testing. * Basic concepts of web architecture. * Basic Protheus knowledge. * Work during Mexico time zone hours until the developer achieves full autonomy. Desirable Requirements * Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). * Experience with source code versioning tools. * Awareness of automated testing. * Spanish language proficiency.
