Professional to join our maintenance and operational services team at the Espírito Santo do Pinhal Operations Post, a unit within the São João da Boa Vista Division. This is the ideal place for those seeking professional growth in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Sabesp (Basic Sanitation Company of the State of São Paulo) is responsible for water supply and sewage collection and treatment across 377 municipalities in São Paulo state, serving 28 million people. **It is one of the world’s largest sanitation companies and the largest in Brazil.** The Company will advance five decades in five years, expanding access to drinking water and basic sanitation for millions of people. **Responsibilities and Duties**
* Perform operational and maintenance activities within the environmental sanitation system, covering quality control, water supply and distribution, and sewage collection and disposal.
* Tasks include operating and maintaining systems; opening and closing trenches and hydraulic valves; installing, maintaining, relocating, and extending water and sewage networks; and performing maneuvers on distribution networks and transmission lines.
* The professional is also responsible for transporting equipment, materials, and tools; collecting samples for analysis; and operating equipment at pumping stations, low- and/or high-voltage transformer substations, and sewer blockage removal machines.
* Occasionally performs water meter readings, billing cuts and deliveries, water supply cutoffs and reconnections, and—under supervision—field metrological testing of water meters, reporting results and clarifying matters to customers.
* Other responsibilities include disinfection services on networks and reservoirs; assisting—under supervision—in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and civil activities; and driving vehicles to perform assigned duties.
* The assistant must ensure workplace organization, safety, and preservation, carrying out other related tasks as needed.
* Operate non-destructive testing (NDT) intervention equipment.
* Drive trucks functioning as tank trucks, combination trucks, *sewerjet* trucks, or dump trucks—including roll-on/roll-off equipped units.
* Perform sewer pipe cleaning via blockage removal or hydrojetting for preventive maintenance.
* Operate equipment inherent to these activities, such as soil compactors, asphalt or pavement cutters, generators, autonomous lighting units, trench dewatering pumps, screwdrivers, sanders, etc.
* Operate the WFM Mobile system for service acceptance and closure, stage initiation, and/or material write-offs.
* Carry out maintenance and calibration of Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs).
* Maintain positive customer interface.
* Conduct technical inspections for service approvals.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed high school education.
* Brazilian National Driver’s License – CNH, Category “C” or higher.
* Desired qualification in plumbing or sanitation infrastructure services.
* Desired experience operating backhoe loaders (a significant advantage for this role).
