Following up with suppliers. Monitoring installation/assembly of purchased items. Managing departmental documentation and routine procedures. Conducting market research on product and service suppliers by collecting pricing information to identify optimal purchasing opportunities. Negotiating with suppliers to finalize purchases under the best possible conditions regarding price, quality, and delivery schedule. Issuing purchase orders and submitting them to suppliers, while monitoring delivery progress and ensuring full compliance with all negotiated terms. Identifying new suppliers of diverse products and services to develop alternative supply sources. Researching alternative products aligned with production process capabilities to enhance product quality and reduce manufacturing costs. Monitoring return processes for goods delivered inconsistent with the purchase order. Updating supplier price lists for goods and internally disseminating this information to relevant departments. Visiting suppliers’ factories to stay technically updated on purchased products.
