Iron Powder Grooving Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Summary: Responsible for grooving feed channels and scrap using various processes and equipment, and performing operational maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Internal growth opportunities The incumbent is responsible for grooving feed channels of parts and cutting returns (scrap and rejected parts), using Altona’s grooving processes (oxy-fuel cutting, breaking, abrasive wheel cutting, iron powder cutting, and iron powder with torch), positioning/moving parts for cutting, and performing Operator Maintenance (MPO) on equipment. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform Operator Maintenance (MPO) on equipment using check\-lists and recording information to ensure equipment remains fully operational and avoid process interruptions. * Consult PCP system documents — FTA (Finishing Technical Sheet) and FTCC (Channel Grooving Technical Sheet) — to verify correct areas of the part for grooving and scarifying before initiating the cutting process. * Position parts on the worktable by referencing PMOV (Operational Movement Procedure) documents. * Groove channels, risers, and flash using LPG cutting torches, abrasive wheels, breaking tools, and iron powder. * Perform scarifying on parts using surface grinders and scarifying graphite tools to reduce channel depth, ribs, and flash; remove sintered sand and scarifying sludge using Pneumatic Hammers (for employees working on scarifying-cutting lines). * Participate in continuous improvement projects. * Comply with occupational safety regulations and Integrated Management System procedures to ensure employee physical integrity. * Adhere to organization and cleanliness standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed elementary education **Additional Information** **Benefits offered:** On-site cafeteria (**R$ 2.61 per meal**) Group life insurance UNIMED Health Plan (Company covers 100% of the monthly premium for the employee after a 3-month probationary period) On-site clinic and occupational physician Free parking for bicycles, motorcycles, and cars Pharmacy partnerships PPR – Profit Sharing Program (paid **twice per year**) Transportation allowance Leisure area and kiosk Altona Library “Conta Comigo” Program (Financial counseling, psychological support, legal guidance, nutritional consultation, social assistance) AACA – Altona Athletic and Cultural Association (sports gymnasium, soccer fields, beach volleyball courts) **And more:** Internal growth opportunities Long-service recognition award Internal events and celebrations Scholarship program (per current internal policy) Electro Aço Altona S.A. was founded on March 8, 1924, as a small foundry and mechanical repair workshop.
