Developing mission-critical treasury systems **What We’re Looking For:** =================== A software engineering specialist to work on the treasury technology infrastructure of Porto Bank, with emphasis on mission-critical systems, integrations with financial market infrastructures, and high-performance, secure, and governed solutions. We seek a candidate with strong technical experience, capable of tackling complex challenges and building robust platforms for financial operations, regulatory risk management, and automated reconciliations. A full-stack professional with strong expertise in development and architecture, responsible for technically leading a squad in a BaaS project. We seek someone proficient in enterprise applications on AWS Cloud, experienced in architectural decision-making, hexagonal architecture, code reviews, and technical mentoring—working across both frontend and backend. **Responsibilities:** ====================== * Develop and maintain mission-critical systems used by the bank's Treasury; * Design scalable, resilient, and secure software architectures; * Integrate internal systems with financial market infrastructures (SPB, SELIC, etc.); * Ensure observability, traceability, and governance of developed solutions; * Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, and other stakeholders; * Actively participate in architectural and technological evolution decisions; **Requirements and Qualifications:** =============================== * Solid experience in software engineering; * Proficiency in best practices for architecture and design of distributed systems; * Experience developing mission-critical and highly available systems; * Knowledge of integrations with financial and regulatory systems; * Ability to solve complex problems with focus on performance and reliability; * Experience with Java (Services); * Experience with Python for Backend Services; * Experience with Python for SysOps; * Knowledge of SQL Server; * Knowledge of PostgreSQL; * Experience with SAP; **Preferred Qualifications:** ================= * Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector; * Knowledge of treasury systems; * Familiarity with Brazilian financial regulations; * Experience integrating with SAP; **Behavioral Profile:** ============================= We are looking for someone who: * Enjoys teamwork and collaborates effectively in their responsibilities; * Has the courage to challenge themselves and go beyond, embracing new growth opportunities; * Transforms ideas into creative solutions and pursues quality in all daily activities; * Possesses strong problem-solving skills; * Is self-motivated and comfortable managing their own time independently; * Is interested in handling technologically innovative and challenging situations.
