Job Summary: A software engineering professional to lead the development and architecture of critical systems in the financial market, ensuring scalable and secure solutions. Key Highlights: 1. Promote technical excellence and engineering best practices The Software Engineering area at Porto Seguro Bank is responsible for developing projects for Private Label, Acquiring, High Net Worth, Benefits, and Credit Card Authorization. Our team is dedicated to the conception, implementation, and maintenance of innovative systems, focusing on efficient, highly available, and secure solutions. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Technically lead the team in the development and evolution of critical applications; * Design scalable, resilient, and low-latency software architectures based on microservices and agile practices; * Collaborate with Cloud/Infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and observability of applications on AWS; * Provide technical guidance, support, and mentoring to the team, promoting technical excellence and engineering best practices; * Ensure implementation of security standards (DevSecOps), performance, and data integrity; * Actively participate in container-based and event/messaging architectures. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Prior experience developing systems for the financial market, payment methods, or credit card authorization; * Experience in technical leadership and microservices architecture; * Proficiency in AWS Cloud solutions (EC2, S3, Lambda, Serverless Framework, API Gateway, EKS, DynamoDB, RDS); * Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js; * In-depth knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture / Messaging (Kafka, SQS/SNS, RabbitMQ); * Solid understanding of design patterns, REST/RESTful APIs, API-First approach, OpenAPI (Swagger), and system integration; * Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS); * Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube); * Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, RDS) and NoSQL/Cache (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis); * Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
