**Client:** Avantti Tecnologia **Employment model:** CLT **Work format:** 100% Remote **Project:** Long Term **Intermediate to advanced English is considered a plus.** Avantti Tecnologia is seeking a Senior Java Developer to work on strategic projects for corporate application development and modernization, integrating legacy environments and cloud-native solutions. We seek professionals with solid backend Java development experience, corporate integrations, enterprise web applications, and technological modernization, as well as an analytical, collaborative profile focused on software quality. Requirements: **Responsibilities** Develop and maintain batch applications using Java 8, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate; Work on the development and maintenance of web applications and corporate services; Work with integrations in WebSphere Application Server, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, and AWS environments; Develop REST and SOAP APIs using JAX-RS and JAX-WS; Implement integrations using JDBC, JMS, and enterprise messaging; Support technological modernization initiatives and evolution of legacy applications; Participate in technical analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements; Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in agile environments; Ensure quality, performance, and stability of developed applications. **Mandatory Requirements** Backend & Integrations Solid experience with Java 8 and Java 11; Knowledge of Java EE 6; Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot; Proficiency in Hibernate ORM; Experience in batch development; Knowledge of integration via JDBC and JMS; Experience with SOAP (JAX-WS) and REST (JAX-RS) APIs; Hands-on experience with WebSphere Application Server; Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform; Knowledge of AWS and AWS SDK for Java v2\. Frontend & Modernization Experience with HTML, JSP, and JSF; Knowledge of AngularJS and jQuery; Hands-on experience with Bootstrap; Knowledge of HTML5, ES6, and Responsive Web Design; Experience with dependency managers such as NPM; Knowledge or interest in modern frameworks like VueJS. **Nice-to-have** Experience in legacy application modernization; Experience in distributed architecture and microservices; Experience in cloud-native environments; Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps; Experience in highly critical corporate environments; Experience integrating legacy systems with modern solutions. **Soft Skills** Analytical and collaborative mindset; Strong communication skills; Ability to solve complex problems; Organized and quality-focused; Team-oriented; Proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
