. **Responsibilities and Assignments** * Map and inventory consumers of the legacy DW (BI, reports, applications, and systemic integrations), classifying them by domain and criticality; * Model domain-specific consumption marts in the gold layer, derived from the silver layer, following the medallion architecture template and data contracts; * Execute dashboard, report, application, and systemic integration re-pointing to the gold layer wave-by-wave, coordinated with domain-based cutover; * Validate consumption parity between legacy and gold layers and support deactivation of legacy consumption endpoints; * Contribute to wave prioritization together with the Product Owner and Data Architect. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Analytics Engineering: solid experience in the consumption layer — dimensional modeling/marts, semantic layer, and certified metrics; * Databricks: production-grade Spark SQL, Delta Lake, and medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold); * BI re-pointing (Power BI, Tableau, or similar): source switching, dataset refactoring, and numerical parity validation; * Systemic data integrations: APIs, batch extractions, and cross-system loads, including interface contracts and rollback plans; * Advanced SQL: reconciliation and large-scale database comparison techniques; * Unity Catalog (lineage, metric and consumption model discovery, documentation); * Dimensional modeling (Kimball/star schema) and best practices for domain-specific marts; * Python and PySpark for automating parity validations and re-pointing routines; * Data Contracts and Data Quality (expectations, DQ gates) applied to the consumption layer; Desirable Requirements: * Experience in DW migration with legacy/new coexistence, wave-based cutover, and large-volume database reconciliation — important differentiator; * Hands-on experience in Data Mesh projects (domains, data as a product, federated governance) — important differentiator; * Knowledge of DataStage or other legacy ETL tools (facilitates understanding of current consumption); * Experience with semantic layers and metric catalogs (metric stores, semantic layers); * Data observability and quality monitoring at the consumption layer; * Experience in the financial or credit market; * Databricks certifications (Data Analyst Associate, Data Engineer Associate); * Open data contract specifications (Open Data Contract Standard, ODPS); Compass UOL is a global firm and part of the AI Revolution Company, together transforming organizations using Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and other of today’s most advanced technologies.
