The professional will be responsible for preparing parts, operating equipment, and conducting visual inspection of the final product. **Responsibilities and duties** Perform welding operations on various materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.) using processes such as MIG, in accordance with technical specifications. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and welding symbols to determine the correct procedure. Prepare, clean, and position parts to be welded, including cutting, bevelling, and grinding. Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Adjust and calibrate welding machines and equipment (amperage, voltage, gas flow, etc.). Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness, and ensure basic equipment maintenance. Strictly comply with all safety regulations (use of PPE) and company operational procedures. Complete production reports and welding quality control reports. **Requirements and qualifications** Vocational training course in Welding or related fields (SENAI, technical schools, etc.).
