To check your application status, log in using your candidate credentials on our careers page, as it will reflect any updates.** **Objective:** Safely, efficiently, and accurately operate and program CNC machines (Machining Centers), ensuring production complies with technical drawings, quality standards, and established productivity targets. **Responsibilities/Profile:** * Load workpieces into the machining center and prepare tools for use. * Operate CNC machines (Machining Centers), ensuring proper operation and equipment adjustments. * Perform programming, setup, and parameter adjustments per technical specifications and mechanical drawings. * Interpret technical drawings, production orders, and work instructions. * Monitor the production process, performing measurements and dimensional controls on machined parts. * Ensure final product quality by identifying and correcting process deviations. * Perform basic autonomous maintenance activities per TPM principles. * Record production data, cycle times, downtime, and performance indicators (OEE), where applicable. * Comply with safety, organization, and discipline standards in an industrial environment. * Collaborate as part of a team and support continuous improvement of production processes. * Work flexible shifts according to operational needs. **Basic Qualifications:** * Completed high school education. * CNC Machine Operator training course with recognized certification (e.g., SENAI or equivalent institutions). * Completed technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields, with certification. * Minimum two years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator, preferably in Machining Centers. **Working Hours:** Availability to work night shifts **Desired Qualifications:** * Currently pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production, or related fields). * Knowledge or training in **TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)** and **performance indicators (OEE)**. * Basic proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite** (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for production records, controls, and communications. * Ability to read and interpret **advanced technical drawings** and dimensional tolerances. * Familiarity with **continuous improvement concepts**, such as Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen. **Interested in this challenge and want to grow your career at Caterpillar?
