Senior Payroll Analyst

**What success looks like in this role:** * **Validation and Approval of Payroll Sheets:** Review and approve payroll sheets generated by local vendors to ensure compliance with the specific legislation of each country. * **Management of Terminations and Hires:** Verify and validate termination calculations and ensure submission of required documentation for new hires and employee separations. * **Local Payments and Taxes:** Validate and approve payments of local tax forms and bank files to ensure accurate salary and statutory contribution processing. * **Local Benefits Management:** Validate and approve benefits requests (particularly for Mexico and Uruguay), maintaining compliance with local policies. * **Compliance and Continuous Improvement:** Promote maintenance and improvements in payroll processes, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and local regulations. * **Support for Employees and Stakeholders:** Serve as the point of contact to clarify questions from local employees and submit accounting reports as required. * **Annual Calendar Development:** Develop the annual payroll activity calendar, ensuring all deadlines and processes are met. **You will be successful in this role if you have:** * Solid experience with payroll processes in Latin American countries. * Fluency in Spanish for communication with local teams and vendors (mandatory). * Advanced English for communication with global teams. * Knowledge of payroll systems and regional compliance standards. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement. * Advanced Excel Unisys is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that considers all qualified applicants without regard to age, caste, citizenship, color, disability, family medical history, family status, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, marital status, national origin, parental status, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, transgender status, veteran status or any other category protected by law.
