Senior Data Engineer - GCP Cloud

Description

FCamara is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Data Engineer to work on Data & AI projects, focusing on building, maintaining, and evolving cloud-based data pipelines, contributing to scalable, efficient, and business-aligned solutions. **Responsibilities and duties** **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:** * Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable cloud-based data pipelines; * Work with distributed data processing using **Apache Beam**; * Orchestrate data workflows and pipelines using **Apache Airflow**; * Develop solutions in **Python**, following software engineering best practices; * Work in **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** environments, leveraging data and analytics services; * Create and maintain deployment pipelines using **CI/CD** practices; * Develop and manage configurations and automations using **YAML/YML**; * Use **Docker** for containerizing applications and services; * Develop, test, and document data transformation models with **dbt**; * Build and optimize solutions using **BigQuery** for analytical storage and processing; * Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure solution quality, reliability, and performance; * Support technical decisions related to architecture, performance, observability, and data governance. **Requirements and qualifications** **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:** * **Advanced English is a mandatory requirement**, due to participation in meetings, communication with stakeholders, and technical documentation in English; * Experience with **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)**; * Hands-on experience with services such as **BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, and/or Dataflow**; * Solid knowledge of **Python**; * Experience with **Apache Beam**; * Experience with **Apache Airflow**; * Experience with **CI/CD** practices; * Experience with **YAML/YML**; * Knowledge of **Docker**; * Experience with **dbt** for data transformation and modeling; * Familiarity with source code versioning, testing, documentation, and development best practices. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Experience in consulting projects; * Knowledge of **Lakehouse, Data Lake, or Data Warehouse** architectures; * Experience with GCP ecosystem tools, such as **BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, and Looker**; * Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and data quality; * Experience with mission-critical production environments and high-volume data pipelines; * **Google Cloud certifications related to Data Engineering**. **Additional information** **Here, we are \#SangueLaranja!** We have been in the market for 17 years, side by side with our clients, delivering transformative experiences.
