Product Technician – Cost Optimization

Job Summary: This role involves supporting vehicle and automotive project cost reduction and optimization initiatives, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and ensuring appropriate documentation. Our differentiator lies in creating tailored solutions — whether for a specific project phase or for improving the manufacturing process of a product, from conception through final testing — covering all phases and delivering positive outcomes in terms of performance and project timeline. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Participate in and support cost reduction/optimization proposals for products and processes related to mass-production vehicles and/or upcoming projects; * Participate in and support technical activities related to development costs, material costs, and automotive project schedules; * Support technical workshops and meetings on cost optimization, including participation, preparation of materials, and presentations; * Develop, update, and maintain documentation and input information required to build business cases for cost reduction proposals (proposal description, list of added/excluded parts, application percentage, images, expert opinions, observations, status, timing, SOP, etc.); * Facilitate communication and transparency among all stakeholders during the implementation process of cost reduction proposals. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Prerequisites** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields; * Intermediate English proficiency; * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools (primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams); * Basic knowledge of mechanics and automotive components; * Prior experience in cost reduction/optimization projects. **Preferred Qualifications** * Familiarity with PowerApps, Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query, and/or SharePoint for potential development of process optimization applications; * Prior experience in the automotive industry. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** On-site cafeteria, transportation allowance, medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, childcare assistance, TotalPass, and partnerships with language schools and universities.
