Description

Responsible for the polishing process of natural ornamental rocks (marbles, granites, quartzites), using machinery, tools, and manual methods, to transform raw rocks and remove all imperfections according to production orders, aiming to deliver products with a satin, brushed, or glossy finish. * Identify the type of material to be polished and the consumables to be applied, in order to execute and ensure the process using machinery, tools, or manual methods according to production orders, complying with the quality standards required by the company and customers. * Complete the polishing machine and equipment checklist, reporting irregularities to supervisors and coordinating corrective or preventive maintenance scheduling with the maintenance team. * Classify all materials to be polished, the method used (machine, equipment, or manual), and the finish applied, following standards, procedures, and work instructions to satisfy the quality criteria required by the company and customers. * Fill out the daily rock polishing production sheet and submit it to the immediate supervisor for updating reports. * Comply with occupational safety regulations, wearing uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE), respecting regulatory standards and workplace conduct according to company procedures, standards, and legal requirements. * Maintain a safe and orderly work environment, ensuring proper working conditions and equipment preservation, contributing to cleanliness, organization, order, and safety during task execution.
