Power BI + Python Developer

**Job Description** We are seeking a Data Engineering and Analytics professional to work at the intersection of large-scale data manipulation and executive dashboard creation. You will be responsible for building efficient data pipelines using Python and transforming them into impactful visualizations via Power BI. The ideal candidate combines advanced technical skills in data structuring with a strong aesthetic sense of Data Storytelling, directly supporting strategic business decision-making. **Responsibilities and Duties** * **Dashboard Development (Reactive):** Fulfill Jira-based requests for creating, maintaining, and enhancing high-performance Power BI dashboards. * **Data Engineering and ETL (Proactive):** Develop Python scripts to automate data extraction, cleaning, modeling, and enrichment from diverse sources. * **Calculations and Metrics:** Build complex financial/operational KPIs and metrics using DAX and Power Query (M). * **Architecture Optimization (Proactive):** Identify bottlenecks in legacy SQL views or scripts and propose modern architectures to accelerate report refreshes. * **Data Governance:** Ensure accuracy of displayed metrics by monitoring automated updates (gateways) and managing row-level security (RLS). **Requirements and Qualifications** * Proven experience developing reports and dashboards in **Power BI (Desktop and Service)**. * Proficiency in **Python** for data analysis and manipulation (Pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries). * Advanced knowledge of **DAX** and **M** (Power Query). * Solid understanding of **SQL** for data extraction. * Expertise in *Data Storytelling* techniques and UX/UI best practices for dashboards. * Experience with agile workflows using **Jira**. **Nice-to-Haves:** * **Major Advantage:** Practical experience with **Databricks** (and PySpark-based data manipulation). * Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure). * Valid Microsoft data certification (e.g., PL\-300\). **MJV Benefits:** TotalPass\\Wellhub; ‍‍‍‍ Group life insurance; Meal/food allowance; Health and dental plan \- Bradesco; Training initiatives: talks, forums, knowledge exchanges, and discussions related to our business.
