The Process Engineer is responsible for developing new processes and maintaining existing ones, acting as the accountable person for assigned development tasks. In addition, the engineer must lead specific improvement activities, participate in analysis and problem resolution, and create competitive advantages for the company through continuous process improvement. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Process Analysis and Improvement** * Map production processes (AS\-IS) and identify bottlenecks. * Propose improvements using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and PDCA. * Reduce costs, waste, and cycle times. **Development and Standardization** * Create and update work instructions, operating procedures, and process sheets. * Ensure standardization of documents and instructions. **Control and Monitoring** * Monitor performance indicators and propose improvements. * Conduct process audits and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. **Scaling and Introduction of New Products** * Lead pilot tests and process validations. * Participate in new product development and ensure that the process meets quality, cost, and timeline requirements. * Define critical process parameters and operational windows. **Technical Support to Production** * Resolve technical issues affecting daily operations. * Train operators and production teams on best practices. * Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and develop corrective actions (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys). **Project and Improvement Management** * Plan and lead continuous improvement projects. * Assess technical and economic feasibility of solutions. * Implement new technologies, machinery, or automation. **Requirements and Qualifications** Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Production Engineering.
