A language education company is hiring an English Instructor. **General requirements:** \- Ability to work effectively in a team. \- Creative, organized, and studious personality. \- Availability to teach on Mondays and Wednesdays during the evening. \- Knowledge of and experience with the Communicative Approach for foreign language teaching. \- Full command of the English language. **Responsibilities:** \- Prepare and deliver classes. \- Provide continuous pedagogical support to students. \- Participate in pedagogical department meetings. \- Develop and participate in extracurricular activities. \- Assist the Coordination team with administrative-pedagogical tasks. **Mandatory qualifications:** \- Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Languages (Portuguese-English). \- Full command of the English language. \- At least one year of experience as an English instructor at a language school. \- Thorough knowledge of the Communicative Approach for language teaching. **Desirable qualifications:** \- Instructor Training Course (TC). \- Certification from an internationally recognized proficiency exam. \- Courses in the field of Pedagogy. \- Familiarity with the YES! Idiomas teaching methodology. \- Availability to teach children, teenagers, and adults. **Notes:** \- Easy access to Tijuca is mandatory. \- Availability to work afternoons and evenings, Monday through Friday, is mandatory. \- Availability to work on Saturdays will be considered a significant advantage.
